The original room had a blue carpet with matching paintwork
and a low border around the room. I wanted to "open" up the room. When I started the project, this was the worst
room of the house, I felt like standing in a cardboard box. I wanted to counter the claustrophobic feeling. The first step
was to remove the carpet, and let light reflect from the wooden floor, then I opted for larger windows to allow more light.
Once I had the available light, I decided to make the closet a focal point, and to make the adjoining wall flow with
it. I think I have achived what I imagined, now standing in the middle of the room, your eyes travel and not remain static,
imparting a feeling of life and exhilaration.
